The Path: Mastering the Nine Pillars of Resilience and Success

The latest book from Dr. Stephen Sideroff will be available this spring. It helps overcome the challenge  of all the changes that one feels they need to make in their lives. It achieves this by distilling the process down to asking one question, “Am I on The Path, or off The Path”, and then showing you the steps to take to be on The Path.

Dr. Sideroff’s new and innovative model of Resilience takes you beyond the one-dimensional definition of success in life – a bigger bottom line and more money in the bank – to his nine dimensional perspectives on life and achievement. This model identifies the most important ingredients for a joyful, healthy and successful life.  Based on his over 40 years in the field of psychology and brain research, “The Path” anticipates and addresses the reader’s difficulties in following through.  It begins with offering a self-assessment questionnaire that gives you a useful profile of your areas of strength and areas needing further development.

The goal of the book is to establish life-long healthy physical, emotional and mental patterns resulting in greater resilience and optimal living. The challenges and complexities of life have two negative consequences: they continually generate new stresses and overwhelm, that interfere with our efforts to establish new healthier patterns. In addition, our early childhood training, that Dr. Sideroff refers  to as primitive gestalts,  further sabotage these efforts.  To help the reader integrate this model and permanently maintain its healing and optimal aspects, he has invented a step by step process called “The Path”.  At the heart of this process is the posing of one ongoing simple question: “Am I on The Path, or off The Path?”  Knowing that an answer to this one question will always yield a healthy choice further reduces anxiety and stress.  It also begins to foster self-trust, a key ingredient in resilience.
